Passionate about Sustainability

Irish Yogurts Clonakilty are passionate about sustainability and in everything we do.
Below are some of the approaches we have taken in ensuring sustainability is paramount at all times.

Energy Use

Electricity used on site at Irish Yogurts Clonakilty comes from renewable sources. We use 100% LED lights at Irish Yogurts Clonakilty. Waste from the yogurt making process is sent to the local anaerobic digester to produce renewable energy. We also use suppliers whose energy use is from renewable sources.

Biodiversity

Irish Yogurts Clonakilty support the local biodiversity garden in Clonakilty and we also have an on-site biodiversity patch. Irish Yogurts Clonakilty are also a member of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan whose aim is to increase the populations of pollinators throughout the country.

Packaging

All of our pots and sleeves are 100% recyclable. The collation trays that are supplied to Irish Yogurts are made from 100% recycled from water bottles from the deposit return scheme. Pots and Tubs are 100% recyclable. After use the trays are 100% recyclable.
